A few weeks ago we both noticed Blaine's favorite sleep position. He always ends up on his tummy towards the front of his crib with his hand tucked under the bumper. When you walk in all you can see his his little hand resting on the side of the mattress under the bumper. BJ realized that if we lay him in his crib tummy down, he will usually put his head right down, tuck his hand in, and settle right away. We think he may almost look forward to sleep now. It's so cute!
Pierce doesn't really have one go-to position, but we often find him curled up on his side. He may be our little side sleeper like me. I think he tends to move around a little more (also like me) as he sleeps.
We try to go into their room most nights before we go to bed to watch them sleep for a little while and make sure everyone is warm enough. One night we discovered Blaine completely bunched up in a little ball and it hit me that he was cold! So we covered him with a blanket and I think that was one of my favorite mommy moments.
